Our biggest challenge when coming up with a design, a feel, a mood for our nursery was this question on repeat: Will it fit" The room is a typical size for a Chicago home of its old age; coming in at barely 7′ wide, it’s shaped as a long, skinny rectangle. We poked fun of the size in this Scary Room video (my, how far it has come from being called ‘scary’!), and although we’ve grown accustomed to the challenge of these narrow little rooms (the guest room comes to mind), we were hesitant to start bringing in any furniture until we triple checked the measurements and taped out the dimensions. It was around that same time that Modsy reached out to us about trying their design services, to which we couldn’t say yes! fast enough. A few months ago, we even shared the three designs we were toying with, displayed through 3D renderings that had us doing a double take – they looked so real!
