They are versatile, fabulous and comfortable.
Caftans are suddenly on my mind; if not now I will miss my moment.

I’ve been a fan of the caftan for as long as I can remember and am always on the hunt for a new addition. Brilliantly, they don’t date and they wear well. Nothing much changes with the caftan other than a change of colour and design to add to our collection.

They are the perfect cover-up but more than that they are another alternative for the weekends, for holidays or for a relaxed outing. I’ve worn mine with espadrilles, with kitten heels and with flat mules; I have even worn a super elaborate version to a wedding party. The trick with caftans is to accessorize – be brave and be adventurous. Wear the extra length in a drop earring, multiple jingle jangle bangles or layer in different necklace lengths. Caftans work for most women because sizing is easy and with the right shape, they are very flattering.
My current crush – and seriously the most beautiful of all caftan style dresses this season – are these, but they an extravagant purchase. They have become a collectible.

I have found a few I would be very happy to wear and a few I dream over.
