When we find that perfect piece it helps to wear it in multiple ways – practically and financially. These days post-pandemic (let’s hope we can say that) fashion has taken a path of pairing the expected with the unexpected that not only allows us to feel unique but also makes our wardrobe more flexible. Worn right, this whole athleisure revolution is a revolation.
My recent love affair with velvet has moved onwards and upwards; I found the perfect pants. When I get a crush, I am all in. The pants are simple, well cut and with a very flattering look.
The best part" They come in hunter green velvet.
The beauty of these in such a glorious colour is the change from black. I’m not going soft on my great companion, but it is wonderful to mix in the jewel tones from time to time. The simplicity of the style means that I can wear them often and on many varied occasions.

I’m thinking out and about with a pretty blouse if that occasion ever strikes. What about with a turtleneck sweater or a cashmere V for in-between and then however which way on the weekends. I’d wear a faux fur coat for those moments, a puffer for practicality and a blazer when I&rs...
