We can’t always wear Chanel.
As much as we might like to.
The Chanel pump and flat are some of the most classic, popular and wearable shoes. The originals and those styles copied around them pretty much go with anything.
Mostly look-alikes and copies need more thought; especially the poorly designed knock-off style of copy. Then sometimes something comes along that is reminiscent of a favourite, works in the same way but is neutral enough not to matter that it is not the real thing.

We found these too late to include in the sale chat but they are far too good to miss out on.
I like the black sling back with the patent toe and the Chanel two-tone colouring is a staple to love. I also really like the embellished ballet flat in soft leather. The thought of wearing both styles, as a change from the slip in mules, is where I am headed this party season.

There are a couple of tricks when buying shoes fabricated in the softest leather.
*Use shoetrees and try not to wear them back-to-back every day. As much as I get crushes on a favourite pair, leaving them one day in two does make a difference.
*Before I wear them I have them re-heeled and soled and this makes not only more durable but also avoids the toe scuffing. Choose a non-slip coating. Often less expensive (...
