It is not often “puffy” is a happy word in my vocabulary.
If it is to do with eyes or ankles, I’m out. If we are talking winter jackets, I am in.
Puffer jackets are back in their stride and for a versatile and practical item, they are looking pretty good. It’s all about how we wear them. I’m not thinking ski wear but puffer jackets to wrap up in and stay cosy; the once only walk-the-dog or hike-in puffers have become a regular fashion staple this season.
I’m not complaining, I love when practicality gets promoted.
Even since moving to Europe, I have been crazy for puffer jackets. Possibly because I never had occasion to wear one before in my southern hemisphere world. Over the last 20 years, they have been in and out of my wardrobe and it is the time one was put back.
I’m not convinced we need the super expensive model as gorgeous as they are because there are plenty of puffers around to look equally fabulous in without burning the bank.
