I am excited as my head starts to fill with thoughts of the exotic; that’s Marrakech. Orange blossom and rose madness are clouding the mind.
I am going to join a creative workshop and hopefully hone my photography and writing skills in this vibrant and colourful city. It will be exciting to return and to be together with a group of like-minded people with similar loves.
This weekend my head needs to make a u-turn and head back from the cold and chilly of London to the warmth and colour of Marrakech. I’m finding it hard to re-invigorate the summer vibe and I’m feeling all about the cashmere and cosy right now. I’m not good at swapping seasons, especially cold for the warm. Weird, I know – everyone longs for sunshine and heat; me I’m a cold weather fan.
When all else fails and I can’t decide what to pack I usually look down to my feet.
Instead of thinking about the practicalities of a four-day trip – like dresses, blouses and pants – I’ve worked out what to wear on my feet. If I pack some colourful and fun footwear I can get away with simple pants and tees most of the time.
