This fresh and bright home design is the FRND House, where natural materials and colours connect with the outer environment. Designed by MCORP Architects, the 165 square metre project was designed for a young family who desired a minimalistic and airy base that promotes comfort. Flowing lines became the hinging concept for the project, which aids in an easy flow for daily family life. Large windows keep the family connected to their attractive garden, and bring natural illumination to the open plan living space throughout the day. The kids? rooms are uplifted with colourful accents, in shades of breezy sky blue and a warm tint of persimmon.
A wood grain focal wall makes the minimalist lounge space into a warm and inviting area. The rounded, pillowy modern sofa looks just too soft and comfortable to resist.
The projector-friendly living room features a retractable screen that descends in front of a wall mounted TV. The wood panelling that backs the sofa area continues seamlessly up and over the ceiling to join with the media wall on the opposite side of the room, forming a cosy cabin-like cocoon.
