Nordstrom are in the midst of their Anniversary sale and it is a good one.
For some reason they choose to discount new merchandise and I have never really understood, but I am not about to argue.

This is the Anniversary sale where I stock up on the basics and replace those pieces that need to freshen up.
My words and writing skills might be in relaxed holiday mode but my ability to find the best deals is alive and well.
However relaxed and out of 'work synch' I might be I can always find what she wants in record time :)

This is the Anniversary sale where I stock up on the new season basics and replace those pieces that need to freshen up. My mind is still in summer mode and trying to pre-empt new winter styles is a bit beyond me right now.

I must admit waking up in London this morning and looking for an alternative other than a swimming costume and loose fitting caftan was a bit of a struggle. The holiday brain is going to take some time to recover from. It is worth it; I am never, ever complaining.
