Italian summer break



Buon inizio settimana!

La breve pausa italiana a casa dei nostri genitori è ormai conclusa ed io adesso sono in trepidante attesa di partire per la Svezia, e poi finalmente Sicilia, per le vacanze VERE.

È stata una settimana intensa come previsto, piena di impegni per vedere vecchi amici e per far stare i bimbi con i nonni e per far conoscere Leo a chi non aveva ancora potuto venire a trovarci.

La maggior parte del tempo per non sballottare troppo i nanerottoli e per non passare metà della vacanza in tangenziale, l’abbiamo passata a casa dei genitori di Alberto, sulle rive del Ticino che abbiamo usato come piscina naturale per combattere il caldo. Sì, lo so che non erano i 40 gradi delle settimane precedenti, ma noi da qui siamo partiti con 15/18 gradi, è uno sbalzo termico notevole!
Senza fare troppi programmi {se avete figli mi capite!} siamo anche riusciti a passare una serata tutti insieme a Pavia, una delle nostre città del cuore. Se dovessi tornare in Italia domani è lì che andrei.

Il quartiere che si affaccia sulle sue rive, denominato Borgo Ticino, è un piccolo paradiso di casette colorate e dai fiori alle finestre e arrivarci al calare del sole è stato un incanto.
