NKBA K+B Insider Brian Patrick Flynn is an Atlanta, Georgia based interior designer, production designer, and set decorator. The once full-time television producer discovered his love of designing residential interiors, quickly gaining a following and an impressive portfolio to boot. Looking to merge his television past with his burgeoning design career, Flynn launched his own production company, Flynnside Out Productions, which does everything from home makeovers, DIY projects, weddings, showers, and renovations. On the side, you can even spot him contributing to HGTV.com, where he’s also a featured designer. 1. Reykjavik, Iceland
Reykjavik, Iceland is my favorite city on the planet. There are so many unforgettable things about it unlike anything else in the world: row houses and roofs covered in super bold colors, from kelly green and electric blue to sunshine yellow and fire engine red; gorgeous black and white murals painted along the sides of buildings?and then the humpback whales breaching in the water. There’s really no reason to ever think about locking your doors.
