Not the cashmere kind; the light, wear with anything kind.
I decided it was the right time to wear a fine turtleneck and after much searching realised I don’t have one.

A total wardrobe essential is sadly missing from my drawers. Where they have disappeared to I have no idea but I am fast replacing them. I’m talking about the light and stretching ones that work alone or equally as well with a jacket or sweater. They are a mid-season deal really but with the unpredictability of climate, they are always a safe bet to have.

The cotton mix turtleneck fits well and sits well.
I can’t believe I haven’t been wearing one of these turtlenecks since forever; it was always a firm favourite and such an easy option.
The light versions don’t need to be an investment and I am hard-pressed to see the difference between many of the designer styles and the less expensive pieces. The lightweight turtleneck is a quick and easy upgrade to update the wardrobe.

How could I forget one of the most timeless pieces of all" Not any more xv.
