DIY: scandi inspired cabinet
We don’t have a lot of space for our clothes in the bedroom: I have a wall closet on my side that I use mostly to store bags, shoes and clothes that I use at home and Alberto has part of his wardrobe in the turquoise dresser. He needed some extra space for his pyjamas and for his books. Since I know that he can be a bit messy, I decided to buy a closed cabinet. I went to Ikea and went home with this little cabinet that belongs to the Eket serie. I like the clean shape and it’s extremely easy to assemble since he doesn’t require the usual screws.
But of course he needed a bit of personality! I so added the Pretty Pegs legs in wood and mint. The well-rounded shape contrasts the clean edges of the cabinet and it matches the color scheme of the room. The final touch are the triangular stickers from Søstrene Grene.
This new addition gave me the opportunity to change and improve a bit that corner, thanks also to the lovely string of lights from Cotton Ball Lights.

Non abbiamo molto spazio per i nostri vestiti in camera da letto: ho un armadio a muro che uso soprattutto per borse, scarpe e abiti che uso a casa e Alberto ha parte del suo guardaroba nel comò turchese. Aveva quindi bisogno di uno spazio extra per i suoi pigiami e per i suoi libri.
