A dream mezzanine in historic Madrid, Spain – an exquisite and luminous dwelling that connects two floors in 1914?s building and creates a link between tradition and modern spirit. The Swiss studio Wespi De Meuron Romeo Architects and Ábaton Arquitectura formed tandem to carry out the integral reform of the house, and the team of the Batavia  was in charge of the interior design – so with so many loving hands on board no wonder the final result is mesmerizing. Enjoy it as we did. The clear-lined whiteness of the contemporary architectural shell is a magnificent scene for the sensual touches of color that come from the different pieces of boutique furniture, art paintings, and textile components.
