Have you ever been caught off guard by a friend or neighbor who drops by with homemade treats during the holiday season" It always warms our hearts to receive a thoughtful assortment of cookies or jam, and to prevent being blind sided time and time again (no more!), I’ve started to DIY a few small gifts every year to have on hand in return. Gifts that can be made in batches of multiples. These tokens of appreciation are also a sweet way to thank our mail lady (who always comes through with our mail order dog food!), the FedEx driver (who knows to never ring the doorbell, lest we want to wake the neighborhood with our barking pups) or my hairdresser (who snips off barely any length when I say, I think I’m trying to grow out my hair – again!). In the past, I’ve whipped up jars of bath scrubs and Christmas-y themed candles, but this year I wanted to try my hand at homemade soaps!
