Mirrors are used in every room reflecting the light into its space adding an open airy feel to a room. In the case with my smaller room.   vintage Sawhorse  I turned an old carpenters sawhorse intoa bedside table by adding a planked surface and trimming if off for rustic rural country feel.  
The French use of pieces once used with another function are often never discarded in a Frenchhome.When and item loses its usefulness,its again admired as decorative.
