One of the essential structural concepts in the construction is the traits of load paths, tributary area for beams and in the final session one way slab and two way slab design. Actually this is highlighted in the video presented in this post. The Load path – denotes the direction in which every successive load will transfer by way of attached members. And, one way slabs are generally designed with a view to transfer their loads to only two opposite support walls. Structural strength of one way slab is placed in shortest direction.
