The floorplan and furnishings were strategized to achieve divergent interests within a constrained space, adding custom elements throughout and unlocking the potential of a truly modern home.
The home?s public areas are anchored by two living spaces that flank a central courtyard ? one formal, and one family-oriented. The formal living room is suited for entertaining. Adjacent to a walnut-clad bar, it?s swathed in a plush, rose gold cashmere rug, and arranged with sculptural furnishings – De Sede lounge chairs, Matera side table by Baxter, Alanda coffee table by B&B Italia. The family room is cozy by comparison ? a monolithic custom stone mass coffee table, comfy, Mesa lounge chairs by Lawson Fenning, and wide, open doors to both the courtyard and the backyard make this an ideal room for the family to gather. In the primary suite, a Cassina lounge chair and ottoman with a Scala Side Table (Stephane Paramentier) is the focal point at the end of the entry hall.
