The Importance of Light and Wind Movement in the Building Construction
Natural ventilation can be defined as a process of supplying and removing air through an indoor space by natural means (without the use of a fan or other mechanical system). It provides ventilation and space cooling using outdoor air flow caused by pressure differences between the building and its surrounding. Wind ventilation is the easiest, least expensive, the most common form of passive cooling and ventilation. Successful wind ventilation is determined by having high thermal comfort and adequate fresh air for the ventilated spaces, while having little or no energy use for active HVAC cooling and ventilation.  Daylight is the controlled admission of natural light and direct sunlight and diffuse skylight?into a building to reduce electric lighting and saving energy. The lighting provided from daylight alone, is a system with a capability to reduce electric lighting power. They are very important info’s needed to be provided when the building is under construction.
