The temporary framework no matter if it’s timber or steel is having platforms at different level which enables masons to sit and carry on construction work at different height of building is defined as scaffolding. Scaffolding is needed so the masons will stand still and in place when the construction materials make the walls height, column or any other structural members of a building exceed 1.5 m.
