Japanese Restaurant Inspired by Nature’s Elements
The stunning Roponggi two-storey restaurant, Yakiniku Nikunotoriko, is a feast not only for the palette, but for the eyes as well. Architect Ryoji Iedokoro integrated elements of nature in the interiors. The first floor dining room is cave-like, fitted with a mirrors and glass tables to visually maximise the space. On the second level, Iedokoro created a forest-like environment, with metal pipes standing as trees and gently sloping floors. Photography © Ryoji Iedokoro
