Impressive Tropical Skyscraper in Singapore
Located in the business district of Singapore, the Oasia Hotel, a “tropical” skyscraper, sits in the middle of the huge buildings. This incredible architectural work of 190 meters was imagined by the Singaporean architects cabinet WOHA and the Spanish architect-designer Patricia Urquiola. Born of a fusion of architecture and nature, it is composed of enormous interior and exterior spaces.

Luxury, comfort, beauty and eco-responsibility are the key words that defines the monument: “The project combines innovative solutions to optimize land use in a tropical approach, while creating a perforated tower, permeable, hairy and green”. The building, covered with a cladding of red aluminum mesh, contrasts perfectly with the various climbing plants on it, and making the hotel a haven of peace where greenery and architecture merge in the middle of the buildings.
