How to Achieve Maximum Comfort in the Building with Minimal Energy Expenditure
Bioclimatic architecture defined as architecture designed wisely to achieve maximum comfort within the building with minimal energy expenditure. To do this, it takes advantage of the climatic conditions of its surroundings, transforming the external climatic elements into internal comfort thanks to an intelligent design. If at some times of the year an extra energy input is necessary, renewable energy sources would be used if possible. To equal comfort the best solution is the simplest and if it is also healthy for the planet, than that is much better. This simplicity is achieved through knowledge and good use of the elements regulating climate and renewable energies. During the design phase of the building it is important to look at all the elements as a whole: structures, enclosures, installations, coatings, etc., since it is meaningless to achieve energy savings in one area and to have heat losses in another.
