The plans will see two low-rise hotel wings spreading out from the existing terminal structure, which will serve as the lobby and lounge. At 200,000 square feet, the space is believed to be the largest hotel lobby in the world. Once complete, the TWA Hotel will contain 505 guest rooms, 50,000 square feet of meeting and event spaces and a series of dining and retail options.Paying homage to the structure?s history, the new TWA Hotel will also contain a Jet Age and mid-century modern museum showcasing furniture, uniforms, posters and memorabilia from the TWA?s hayday.
