Building from Inside Out
This one-story house was built step by step, starting from its inner design to its outer shape. First, designer Alexey Churbakov and the owner sketched out the house’s main idea. Then, they gave that idea an outer shape, making sure no space was wasted. Bringing Nature Inside
The house has a U-shape, which lets people see from one room to another across a green courtyard. Big windows pull nature right into the rooms. Every room gets lots of daylight. But interestingly, these windows only face the courtyard for privacy. The house’s outer look fits well with nearby buildings and doesn’t overshadow nature. Instead, it welcomes nature inside.
