The staircase with staggered steps (also called staircase with Japanese steps) can advantageously replace a scale of miller. This staircase has particular small footprint. In fact this staircase is designed like a standard straight staircase but the cutting of the steps makes it possible to pass one foot from one step to the next more easily. This makes it possible to make a staircase with a steeper slope without reducing the depth of the step.
