Amazing Hawaiian House by Walker Warner Architects
Walker Warner architects recently built a fantastic property in Hawaii, between modernity and tradition. Covering an area of ??446 square meters, they created it using wooden shelters with thatched roofs, typical of the island. The coating used, red cedar, is resistant to humidity and heat. The American firm said they wanted to find “a balance between modernity and tradition” with the use of contemporary materials while being inspired by traditional houses. Located on the top of a hill, the house overlooks the Pacific Ocean, offering a magnificent view to its occupants. Pictures credits : Matthew Millman
