All the Names a Masonry Heater Has from all Over the World
It is interesting how one same thing has different names in different parts of the world. A beautiful masonry heater is also known as masonry stove, kachelofens, on the other side of the world is Russian fireplace, Finnish fireplace, even Swedish stoves. Some are calling it tile stove, contra -flow fireplaces, sometimes radiant fireplaces and mass-storage fireplaces.
Actually the reason for this massive use and many names is the great functionality and excellent performances it has. Inside, there is a burn hotter than metal wood stoves and their winding maze of flue that warms the surrounding masonry. The heat emission is for 18 to 24 hours. It can reach the temperature of 2000 degrees inside yet they stay comfortable to the touch on the surface.  And the best of all is leaving very minimal pollution in the air.
